We are looking for answers to some hard questions as we dig deep inside and explore our own core values and how that guides not just our own lives but the very world that we live in. These questions will be asked to a group of high school students but we would also like to hear from the world at large. While we hope to keep this forum wide open we do reserve the right to delete responses that we find to be offensive or combative in nature. Thank you for participating with us.

Question of the Day: Day 365
Was there any value (for you) in this project? Have you learned anything about yourself or the world around you by answering these questions? Any last words?
When you engage in competitive activities (work, sports, games, etc), would you rather be up against someone better than you or someone that you know you can win against? Why?
Have you ever been in situations where people just insist on doing things the hard way even though others point out easier ways to do them? Why is it sometimes difficult to take advice from others?
Do you think that the children, teenagers, and young adults of this generation have pretty much the same values that their parents have or are they vastly different? What do you predict the next generation might be like? Is there a pattern?
Are there any circumstances under which you could see yourself taking a family member to court if all other attempts failed to lead to an acceptable resolution?
If you had the opportunity to ask the leader of your country one question and you knew that you would get an honest answer, what would it be? Why is that question important to you?
Is it possible for a child to be born already wired to be "bad" regardless of environmental factors or all children born "good" and only learn to do bad things?
Do you think that taxpayers in any given country should be able to pick and choose which programs they are willing to have their money fund and which ones they choose NOT to fund so that government agencies would be forced to find alternative funds or discontinue programs that the public do not support?
When you think about your own future, do you envision it as being positive or negative? Do you think that your outlook will influence how your life actually turns out or do you think that it will have no bearing whatsoever?
If you had a vision from God (or the Supreme Being of your choice) and it told you that all of your previously held beliefs were wrong, would you believe it or would you discard it and continue believing what you always have?
You are quite friendly with both Bob & Jenna who are engaged to be married. You notice one of them and are about to say hello when you realize that, he or she, is hand in hand - cheek to cheek with someone you don't know. Do you confront him or her, mention it to the "significant" other, do a little bit of investigating on your own, or choose to stay out of it completely?
Since 911, security has increased in the U.S. At the airport, for example, we must remove our shoes, jackets, and sweatshirts. Items such as cigarette lighters & cuticle scissors are now prohibited. Do you think that such increased security is absolutely necessary or that it infringes on some of our basic rights/freedom?
If you found out early in a pregnancy that the child would have both physical and mental handicaps, would you (and/or your partner) decide to have the baby anyway?
Do you think that FOOD is a right that all people are entitled to? If so, what can "we" ethically do to ensure that all people are fed? If not, why not? What do you think are some of the obstacles that keep hunger from being a done away with deal?
