Question of the Day: Day 345

Do you think that one person really has the power to make a difference in the world? What will YOU do to make a difference in your part of the world?

One person does make a difference in the world. A carpenter's son influenced the world like no other. Big names in politics (Churchhill, FDR, Kennedy, Reagan), at one time or another, shaped the way governments are ran today.

We may feel like a nobody in the world around us. But, we can mean the "world" to the person next to us. So, we should be sensitive to their needs and responsible for our actions.

Yes, I believe that one person has the power to make a difference. Maybe not in everyones' lives, but some lives.

I think we all have a few people who have touched our lives- perhaps only briefly- but changed something about our being forever. People who have contributed to our lives in a positive way, opened our eyes to another way of seeing, and influenced us to do & be better people.

Part two of the question...

What will I do to make a difference in my part of the world?

Offer, to programs that help people, what I am able in terms of tangible items, cash, or time. Continue to believe in the good of humanity- despite the fact that there is also a bad side too. Be compassionate, a good listener, and NEVER look down upon anyone (I've not walked in their shoes.)
