Question of the Day: Day 144

Have you ever started to have a BAD day but then turned it around and made it better? How did you do it?

yes definitely;
I get my whole context-perspective-perception process going.
I talk about that alot, because as an artist and even more, as a human being with rough edges and often raw emotions, I realize that all the moments, good and bad; hopeful and helpless, put me in touch with others, and in that way in touch with myself. God is love. I pray...about everything.

Many times.

I think that most people would rather be happy than miserable but sometimes it really takes a serious effort to turn that around.

I rethink what my priorities are and put things back in perspective.

I also use wacky humor to turn things around sometimes.

Yes, I have had what started out as a bad day turn around... Usually it has been because of something unexpected which has revealed itself to me (for example happening upon someone who I consider to be a peer living in a wheel chair, of on an oxygen machine, or reading their obituary in the paper. etc.) Those things just have a way of making you snap out of "it" & count your blessings.

Or someone unexpectedly says or sends something which is so amazing that it moves me to tears... of joy.
