Question of the Day: Day 98

What does it mean when someone says, "I am a man (or woman) of my word" and does it make a difference, to you, whether you believe him/her or not?

Actions speak louder than words, but when someone tells me they are a being of personal integrity, I know whether or not I am being told the truth. Intuition is the most powerful tool I have at my disposal.

In my experience, someone who needs to make that statement is trying to convince himself moer than me.

I agree with B. Actions speak, words are weak. That's the way life is.

I think, like B does, that a person who lives a life of integrity has no need to SAY that he does. His life is a living testament to it.

Those who feel a need to say it to others are trying to convince someone of something.

to me i do not think that if someone says that they are a man/woman of there word i would not believe it means any more or any less about what they said to me it depends on what they are telling me and how they address it to me. but no it dose not help or hurt anymore that what is going to be said.when one of my homies tell me that that i do have more trust in them because i can count on him more than anyone elase.
