Question of the Day: Day 226

What do you think it might take to have more peace and less war in the world? Is it even possible?

Actually, I don't think it's possible, because our world will never be perfect.

Less greed, fewer power mongers, fewer people who need to be right, & less ignorant judgemental types might be a start.

Meditation

Click here to review a study (June-July, 1993) on meditation and crime using the (then) Murder Capital of the world, Washington DC, and a group practicing Transcendental Meditation. Even if you do not read the article, scroll down and look at the graph.

Also, consider the film What the Bleep Do We Know?, which discussed many of the 'whys' of the effectiveness of concentrated, mindful thinking of what we consider to be 'reality.'

But, all in all, what it comes down to is that Meditation Energizes Peace.

Namaste
