Question of the Day: Day 113

Have you ever been ignored and, if so, how did it make you feel?
Will you ever treat someone that way? Why or why not?

Oh yes, but it's usually not deliberate. That doesn't stop my hypersensitivity from operating, though. I'm horrible that way.

I think that everyone probably feels ignored now and then.

I don't think that I take it personally very often. Mostly I just figure that people are busy and have their own lives to manage and that we will catch up when we have time.

I try not to ignore anyone but I think I most likely fail at this now and then, with my own kids. They are older now and I give them more time on their own but I wonder if that's really what I should do - maybe I do it as much for me as for them. I'll have to think about that.

I'm sure that I have... I know that I have... perhaps not deliberately. It made me feel as if I didn't matter to someone who mattered to me. Being "stone-walled" has a way of creating feelings of restentment & loss of confidence, or trust in another.

I've forgiven that, because after thinking it through, I concluded that it had more to do with that person than with me.

I attempt to respond to people in a timely manner & be honest about why I will not be, or have not been in contact.
