Question of the Day: Day 205

If you were the leader of your country, what would be the first and most important issue that you would focus on? What would your plan be?

if i was the leader of this country i would try to help our world with poverty. i would come up with a foundation to try and get people every where to donate what they can. its devasting to see or hear that millions of people around the world die do to the lack of food. we might not be able to end world hunger but that does not mean we cant try our best to give instead of just blowing it off just because its another job to do.

I am - gimme a hug.

The rules of my country:

-Care.
-Say what you mean.
-Do what you say you will do.
-Teach what you know.
-Learn what you can.
-Treat others the way they want to be treated. Treat yourself the way you want others to treat you.

If you don't like these rules - go get your own country.

I'd never ever want to be the leader of any country. Despite that fact, some issues which are important to me are:

* I'd do something about the NECESSITY to have dual incomes for those with under school aged children.

* Stress... life is much too stressful.. Perks: Partially empoyer funded REAL vacation get aways. Health-club memberships.

* Poverty... I believe that there is enough $ in the states to end poverty & I think that whatever it is now being used for, it could be put to better use.

* Implement basic life skills in the public school system; finance, interpersonal/relationship skills, nutrition, etc. We have many book educated people~ intellectuals, who have no common life sense... who do not know how to manage, invest, or ethically earn money, take good care of their bodies, or a thing about comradery,or how to be decent human beings. (too much of a dog eat dog world)

* Legalize marijuana... Alcholosim, I believe is worse by far.

* Charity begins at "home"... most often stay the hell out of other countries business.
