What would you say to a friend who was bragging about breaking the law?

We are looking for answers to some hard questions as we dig deep inside and explore our own core values and how that guides not just our own lives but the very world that we live in. These questions will be asked to a group of high school students but we would also like to hear from the world at large. While we hope to keep this forum wide open we do reserve the right to delete responses that we find to be offensive or combative in nature. Thank you for participating with us.

Most people who brag look to others for assurance, like, "You feel me?" or "Know what I'm saying?"
To which I'd respond, "No I don't." and walk away.
I have a firend who routinely breaks the law. He does soft drugs, but occasionally suplies them for friends. I have told him he is being stupid int he past and i will continue to do so. It makes a difference sometimes. It is the duty of a friend to tell someone when they are doing wrong...however hard that may be.
I would probely laugh and support them But later I might try to talk to them about it later I do not like it when people brake the law but at the same time when I do it I brag about.

well at 1st i wouldnt say anything just go along wit them. later i might say lik that aint natin to brag about.but some days truth i wouldnt realy say anything at all.
That is certainly not a quality that I would ever praise in a friend!
I would be appalled at my friend breaking the law AND bragging about it and I would tell them so.
Also, if it was anything that was causing harm to others then I would also turn them in.I think my true friends would know that about me.
Well if it was a friend of mine and not work related I would tell him, " Do you realize how big of an idiot are right now for talking like that. It makes me asshamed that I even called you a friend. You need to change your thinking about your crime or walk out my door and never darken my doorstep again until you have changed your selfish ways.
Yep, thats what I would say.
