Tough one... I do not condone lying. However, if the truth will cause significant harm to another~ I think it best to withold it.

If telling the truth will do more harm than good, or absolutely no good~ NONE what~so~ever... why speak it.

Otherwise, I'm about honesty. "The truth may not always be pure, but there is purity in speaking the truth." However, I don't want anyone tainting my life or mind with irrelevant obscene truths; there are some things I'd just rather not know.

Yes. But in my opinion, only by keeping your mouth shut. not by saying something that isnt true. i wanted to tell someone the truth today, but realized that it would only lead to disharmony between me and this person.

Lies just lead to more lies and it becomes a spider web you get stuck in.
