Question of the Day: Day 157
Has that experience made you a weaker or a stronger person?

We are looking for answers to some hard questions as we dig deep inside and explore our own core values and how that guides not just our own lives but the very world that we live in. These questions will be asked to a group of high school students but we would also like to hear from the world at large. While we hope to keep this forum wide open we do reserve the right to delete responses that we find to be offensive or combative in nature. Thank you for participating with us.

My biggest dissappoinment was not telling my brother and father that I loved them before they died. I just assumed they knew. I kiss my son and husband every morning and tell my son I love him everyday.

Three of my biggest disappointments in life so far have been; that I have not earned the degree which I started working otward long ago, by now. Life took twists & turns on IT'S terms.
That my father died at age 59; I'd never have thought it.
AND some of the choices which I've made in regard to relationships.. I have never known a truly satisfying long term intimate relationship or discovered a life partner- despite two marriages.
OOps... If anything, disappointment has made me more understanding, less of a perfectionist, & accepting of the fact that some things are going to come- or not- come down as we plan; life goes on.
My biggest disappointment has been not making better financial decisions in my life.
I'd be a stronger person today if I had made better choices 20 years ago.
