I watched a child get passed around a room full of adults and poked and pinched and prodded and it was obvious that the kid wasn't enjoying the attention but the second the ordeal was over, the child went back to being calm and started working on his teething ring.

The lesson I learned is that when the present moment is pleasant, don't dwell on the past.

Love,

Stu

Wide-eyed-wonderment.

Children are born with a "clean slate," before people, and events of the world, impose impressions upon their mind.

It is fascinating to watch a human being, unfettered by conditioning, act out of sheer innocence

The most important thing I learned from a child was how much it mattered what I said and how I acted when I was with that child. I learned the awesome responsibility of a parent. I learned that it was time for me to stop being a child, to put my "needs" on the back burner and start being a role model and a mentor.

hmmm. I dont get enough contact with little kids. Im a little young still for that. But here goes:

Wonderment is good. Everything can be looked at again. And again and again. once more, just for luck. And it never stops being amazing, just cos it is normal. Look at your hand. A miracle of natural engineering. Awe inspiring.

Sometimes the simple answer is the best one. Dont get caught up on the other issues, answer the question.

More food is always good. Always.

The most important thing that I have learned from a child is that the world is a wonderful, beautiful, magical and mysterious place when seen through the eyes of innocence and adventure.

That I need to not try to fight how I feel. In particular, not to be afraid to cry if I'm sad.

To dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth.
Twains words not mine.
