We are looking for answers to some hard questions as we dig deep inside and explore our own core values and how that guides not just our own lives but the very world that we live in. These questions will be asked to a group of high school students but we would also like to hear from the world at large. While we hope to keep this forum wide open we do reserve the right to delete responses that we find to be offensive or combative in nature. Thank you for participating with us.

I think the most interesting examples of faith are in religion, in one's view of their fellow man, and in one's view of self.
I am an athiest, and thus have no faith in God or religion. I am an optimist concerning my fellow man - I believe people are generally good when in appropriate societal settings. And first and foremost I have faith in myself - that I interpret the world around me appropriately, that I know what I don't know, I know right from wrong, I'm a good person, and I'm doing my own part to make the world a better place.
It has been my experience that there is no strategizing, rationalizing, persuading, or drama where faith itself is concerned ... there is simply a struggle free inner KNOWING that whatever worldly drama "we" may be going through, "we" WILL come through to a place of (often times unexplainable) clarity. "We" will be able to handle whatever comes our way... & be o.k.
Venturing into the unknown... riding faith 'round the bend.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is not tangible.
Whereas science is "to see is to believe," with faith, "believing is seeing."
I'm a Christian. Without my faith in God, I'm no more than a wild beast. What would prevent me from killing the next person?
