Question of the Day: Day 311

If someone that you care about (mom, dad, brother, sister, son, daughter, best friend, or spouse) wanted to have a sex change operation, would you support him/her? Why or why not?

I have thought about this topic & have concluded that there are probably two general categories which anyone who chooses to have a sex change fall into :

- Those who have NOT a clue as to who they really are, and who live to extremes & are dangerously experimental.

&

- Those who are biologically born with the wrong anatomy, and suffer greatly living life in the "wrong" body.

It has to be costly - financially (I doubt that medical insurance covers these procedures)- emotionally, & socially to make such a decision. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

If I am to be honest, I do not fully understand... or "get it". This may cause me to love someone a bit differently, BUT would not cause me love ANYONE any less.

I'd support them.
