Would you forgive and stay with a partner who was unfaithful to you? Why or why not?

Forgive, I'm near certain that, in time, I would be able to do that. Continue the relationship- with visions of my partner with another in my mind- I imagine would a sensitive & difficult matter.
I would need to consider the circumstances around my partner being unfaithful and whether or not our relationship was one truly worthy of salvaging.
Forgive? Yes. Love conquers all.
Stay? Yes. Staying is the proof of forgiveness. It's conflicting to say, "ok, I forgive you BUT..."
Forget? That's impossible. Our brain is not designed to do that. I can possibly suppress the thought of it so that forgiveness is evident and staying makes sense.
Forgive...I recently did an entire post on my own experiences with this.
It just depends on the situation cuz every one is different. Lets say that your relationship was going through some really tuff times. And in the end of the tuff times you stayed together and neither one of you were unfaithful again. I could forgive him and stay with him. But I would also always be looking for clues for any funny business. And at the end of the day, if he is unfaithful again, same on me.
